Reflections of Faith Community Outreach Center Asst. Executive Director

The significance of a task is usually evaluated by the sum total of a facet of time.  A fourteen year journey has been etched in the scope of time.  My heart is often mesmerized by the painful cry of the desperate, despondent, and devastated plight of a homeless family.  This is synonymous to trying to find a needle of hope in a haystack of distress.  I have often searched the eye gates of a homeless mother and struggled to analyze the stream of tears that engulfed her face.  The resounding words of King Solomon would resonate to me, 'seek higher power'.

This wisdom has transcended me throughout my fourteen years of service with Faith Community Outreach Center, Inc.  Our mission is to create a paradigm shift in the lives of homeless women and children.  This venture needs many hands to push the wheel of hope to another level.

Thanks to the many partners that have placed their hands on the wheels of this great organization by giving their support through many avenues which include volunteering, donated items, professional services, and funds.  In the year '2011/'2012, as we continue to reach out to touch the hands of those in need, we will make this world a better place to live and love.

We welcome your visits, calls or emails. Your financial support and contributions are needed to help us continue our services to the many homeless families in this community. We would like to welcome you as a sponsor.
